Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a 3-wheel double buggy is essential to how it will be easy for you and your baby/s to push. Certain models also have locking front wheels to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles such as curbs.
Some models come with air-filled tyres, which give you a great all-terrain ride, but can be susceptible to punctures, therefore, make sure you have spares in the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they might be uncomfortable for your child if they decide to run.

You can find options that fold flat and then stand up (as if they were in a pushchair) and also those that pop open to reveal more of an umbrella-style fold, with the option of a brake operated by hand. In general the more wheels a buggy comes with the more able it will be to navigate over rough terrain. This is particularly applicable when the wheels are larger than average - this will provide you with more stability and reduce the chance that your children will tip or flip over.
